Your market understanding of video, the ability to create compelling solutions that unlock new opportunities, and your ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders to build customer relationships will be core to success.

  • Advocate for the power of YouTube as a brand and design review platform externally (e.g., customers, media agencies) and internally (e.g., executive leadership, Sales teams, and cross-functional global teams).
  • Identify strategic opportunities for YouTube to drive incremental impact in the market (e.g., Connected TV and future forms of media consumption).
  • Build the Connected TV strategy for Canada working closely with regional/global go-to-market leads and developing compelling brand solutions and scalable business collateral.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Directors to execute the plan through industry knowledge, product expertise, and strategic thinking to support the go-to-market approach.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders in the business and product organizations appropriately framing around business rationale, advertiser needs, and business growth opportunity and captivate the attention of audiences with your thought leadership in the video.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in video advertising or streaming/connected TV marketplace.
  • Experience managing a book of business, sales pipeline, and/or client relationships.
  • Experience in digital marketing, advertising, and/or media sales, planning, or buying.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience planning, buying, and/or measuring offline and online media.
  • Experience leading and influencing complex strategic and operational initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in identifying how market trends will translate into business opportunities and building a go-to-market strategy that will accelerate growth for YouTube and third-party video.
  • Ability to captivate and influence an audience across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver a simple, compelling message, and translate that into narratives and business collateral.
  • Excellent business acumen and problem-solving/analytical skills.
