Job Description:

Remote Jobs NYC 2022 $25 An Hour, The Customer Service Associate is responsible primarily for the support and satisfaction of customers across all HMS brands, as this is paramount to the success of the business. All initiatives and actions should be thoughtfully geared towards customer satisfaction, retention, and lead generation.

Additionally, they assist a variety of needs for the continued improvement of the online business. These responsibilities range from all aspects of customer service for all channels of customer communication, product knowledge, reporting, returns, repairs, warranties, fraud management, as well as packaging and supplies management, fulfillment/warehouse communication, and inventory tracking and support. All in a fully remote working environment.

This role offers a unique and challenging opportunity to help build a strategic practice from the ground up and help the HMS brands achieve radical growth through insights into our customers.

Key Responsibilities for Work From Home Jobs NYC:

Customer Service:

  • Own live chat functions and phone calls during business hours
  • Answer email/voicemail communication from customers within 48 business hours
  • Identify, assess, and execute resolution based on customer needs, prioritizing satisfaction and retention (within reason – the customer IS NOT always right)
  • Ensure in-depth product knowledge across all brands to efficiently handle customer inquiries
  • Assist customers with order placing, discount application, returns/exchanges, etc.
  • Assist customers with warranty replacement procedures
  • Analyze sales and warranty requests for fraudulent orders/claims
  • Contact FedEx/USPS/UPS for customer order information, and file claims, as necessary.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Reporting:

  • Daily analytics on incoming calls, emails, and communication per issue/channel

Fulfillment/Inventory:

  • Ongoing oversight with fulfillment teams to enhance customer experience and reduce shipping collateral

Requirements/Skills for Work From Home Jobs NYC:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1-2 years of Customer Service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
