Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization.  EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enables a data-driven culture while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

This Senior Product Analyst position will play a central Product Owner role in supporting multiple, high-priority company initiatives, defining and leading the intake process, and supporting Modernization efforts for our Enterprise APIs.

They will help to craft the process vision and roadmap, provide input on impacts on the customer experience, consult on business architecture, gather requirements, decide on prioritization, track and report development status as well as define process controls.

Responsibility for Online Senior Analyst Jobs in American Express USA:

  • Support new capabilities and document the outcomes/benefits of the supporting use cases to help prioritize work to deliver the maximum value.
  • Support discovery sessions for new capabilities with key stakeholders that produce well-defined capabilities and documented outcomes/findings.
  • Work with managers and directors to design solutions and strategies.
  • Help lead team PI Planning sessions & alignment of priorities across dependent organizations.
  • Publishes the bi-annual newsletter and conducts annual PI Surveys on New Features and overall Platform, hosts user feedback sessions.
  • Drive Sprint Level Execution and participate in all sprint level activities.
  • Identify risks and issues through proactive communication and collaboration with stakeholders across teams.
  • Track program milestones and solution deliverables across teams and functions.
  • Produce scorecards, metrics, dashboards, and program status communications as needed.
  • Drive cross-team partnership, identifying and proposing solutions to inefficiencies or process gaps.
  • Contribute to a strong team culture of collaboration and excellence.

Skills for Work From Home Jobs in American Express in USA:

  • BS or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of supporting APIs (though no API programming will be required for this specific role).
  • Prior experience owning or supporting a platform that’s used across a large Company / Enterprise.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research and discovery sessions that provide documented outcomes and findings in the form of well-defined capabilities, white papers & other analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Sound knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) for software development.
