The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) is recruiting for the Fall 2022 semester within the Interior Design program. The program is specifically looking for an instructor to teach IDES 330: Business of Design course:
Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of adjunct vacancies from semester to semester. However, we invite qualified applicants who are willing to accept part-time teaching work on an as-needed basis to apply.
- A BFA degree in interior design or allied disciplines, i.e., architecture.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff,
and student environment or commitment to do so as an employee at VCUQatar.
- Preference is given to candidates with experience teaching a diverse undergraduate student population in the Arab Gulf or larger MENA region.
- Additional preference is given to candidates who have secured the National Council for Interior Design Education NCIDQ and/or the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification LEED GA/AP.
