Paralegal Jobs London 2022, Paralegal Jobs Hiring in London UK, The Condé Nast in-house Legal and Policy team is looking for a paralegal or newly qualified lawyer who is looking to gain extra experience with a legal team. 

This person should have experience in company secretarial matters and an interest in immigration and UK compliance requirements.  Full training and support will be provided.

The purpose of this role has two main areas of focus.  The first is to support the Legal and Policy Team to successfully integrate its global group of companies and ensure that these are operated in an effective, coordinated, and compliant manner going forward, by leading on corporate records and administrative compliance.

This role will involve close partnering with all our international Legal and Policy team members and some of the wider communities within Conde Nast such as Finance.

The second is to work alongside the Legal and People Team colleagues on immigration and compliance issues relating to our UK visa sponsorship license, including but not limited to record keeping, and reporting changes. 

This person would work with legal team members to instruct and monitor global visa applications for our candidates or employees by instructing our external partners and should have an interest in current and global affairs.

Responsibility for Paralegal Salary in UK:

  • Actively manage the corporate and co sec structure relating to each of the wholly owned Markets (US, U.K., France, Italy, Spain, Germany, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Mexico).
  • Ensure appropriate filings are made and that processes are in place to oversee this in all markets.
  • Ensure the maintenance of an accurate set of Conde Nast-specific corporate and company secretarial records, working closely with relevant Conde Nast Legal and Finance personnel and Advance; our parent Company.
  • Support any changes to company Directors or corporate governance arising from the integration process.
  • Work closely with the Employment and Compliance team on compliance issues relating to our UK visa sponsorship license, including but not limited to record keeping, and reporting changes alongside our external partner.
  • Work with Legal team members on instructing and monitoring UK visa applications;
  • Work with Legal team members to enable the global mobility internal policy application; supporting global immigration requirements and liaising with relevant external third parties on our behalf.

Skills & Experience for Paralegal Jobs London Entry Level:

  • Paralegal or Legally qualified in the UK would be preferred, but as a minimum, have a degree (in any subject) or equivalents, such as a level 6 or 7 apprenticeships or a level 6 or 7 professional qualifications.
