The nurse consultant post holder will also have an opportunity to become a patient-focused, effective and facilitative leader in the areas of research, education, and leadership within the directorate, as these are areas we are keen to expand further. The post holder will be joining a multidisciplinary team of enthusiastic and supportive geriatricians, nurse consultants, and advanced care practitioners, amongst other staff, who offer a range of specialist older adults services.

Responsibility:

The successful post-holder will be a clinical expert in the field of Older People and Frailty and will demonstrate:

The successful candidate will be educated to Masters Level, including independent non-medical prescribing. We aim to improve the sustainability, quality, and efficiency of services, enhance integrated working with primary and secondary care and improve pathways, delivering a truly person-centered service. The candidate will be provided with clinical supervision opportunities, a robust induction, and a personal development plan to meet their professional development needs.
