CSCP has an exciting opportunity for you to play an important role in driving our transformation. The job is an individual contributor role within CSCP’s Strategy & Transformation Office.

As a Business Operations Manager with a depth of experience managing and improving internal processes, you will drive improved efficiency and internal customer experience related to the Transformation Office’s Supplier Contract Desk, our interviewing and hiring process, our People & Culture initiatives, and other critical support functions.

This role will report to the Transformation Office Director and will require partnership and coordination across multiple partner teams including Microsoft Procurement, Recruiting, and HR as you drive the development of new improvements and capabilities supporting the Transformation Office organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers, Legal, Procurement, and other key stakeholders to ensure all supplier agreements meet Microsoft’s contracting standards and requirements
  • Provide guidance on contracting and procurement matters to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver relevant data-driven analyses to identify opportunities for efficiencies across a broad range of Procurement solutions
  • Contract creation, execution, and analysis to maximize operational performance while reducing financial and business risk
  • Serve as an escalation point for stakeholders on a range of topics, such as corporate policy compliance, contracting and procurement processes, template usage, contract interpretation, conflicting contractual obligations, and supplier relationship matters
  • Manage organizational headcount to ensure short/long-term goals within set parameters
  • Deliver a consistent hiring pipeline of quality candidates while improving the candidate experience along the way
  • Partner with HR and Recruiting teams to monitor and ensure process effectiveness by reviewing hiring performance and influence where change is needed in strategy or behavior and resolving key blockers/friction points in a timely manner
  • Respond to team culture issues & leading culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, hiring, onboarding)
  • Partner with Learning & Development on training and readiness
  • Drive cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and manage complex business needs
  • Partner with a wide group of stakeholders to drive business processes optimization & operational excellence across the organization

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing business processes in complex, highly fluid organizational environments
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, reporting, and continuously improving business processes
  • Experience managing supplier contracts, conducting stakeholder reviews, tracking revisions and progress to deadlines for matrixed teams of contributors
  • Strong communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and active listening
  • Experience creating and improving processes that generate measurable ROI. Experience measuring the effectiveness of processes
  • Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments
  • Great project management skills, including time management, goal setting, multitasking, and prioritization
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strive for excellence in process-based work, simplifying processes without compromising outcomes
