As a Studio and Client Experience Manager your main role is sales and managing an efficient and customer focused front desk. This job also will train all new hires in the Studio and Client Experience Expert roles and ensure they are set up for success by providing the right guidance and tools. You will also ensure you are setting the tone by following the Gee Beauty presentation standards each day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee the daily functions of the front desk and the flow of the studio
Meet individual and store sales targets
- · Ensure studio and front desk cleanliness and organization – assist providers with room flips, general cleaning to allow them time with their client.
- · Approve all exchanges and returns (ensure new hires understand the policy).
- · Ensuring clients are checked in and out properly, their future bookings are complete as well as their files are up to date.
- · Addressing all client complaints and direct as needed.
- · Respond to client emails.
- · Respond to voicemails and messages repeatedly throughout the day.
- · Managing all virtual consultations and schedule accordingly.
- · Monitoring the schedule for service providers to ensure the schedule is running efficiently and clients are aware of any delays.
- · Keep studio morale high and fun.
- · Contact clients in the event of a provider schedule change (expected or not expected).
- · Continuously meeting daily studio and individual retail goals.
TEAM LEADERSHP
- · Create an environment where selling is fun and rewarding (use Stephanie’s sales seminars and focus on education that is provided to you)
- · Training new hires using the Gee Beauty onboarding program and training tools.
- · Follow up with new hires daily to ensure compliance and understanding.
- · Take steps to improve team performance and if needed escalate to Manager or HR.
- · Communicate progress or concerns with Management or HR.
- · General product knowledge with new hires.
- · Use discretion to address performance issues when appropriate, with respect and fairness, involving HR when necessary (positive reinforcement, always in private, constructive feedback).
- · Demonstrate a professional image, including clean and complete dress, full makeup and waring only cosmetic brands that Gee Beauty sells.
- · Foster an environment that supports Gee Beauty’s CORE values.
ADMINISTRATION
- · Arrange for vacation coverage.
- · Ensure all lunch breaks are planned and there is coverage.
- · Ensure daily schedule is organized.
- · Supply order as needed.
- · Providing end of day numbers in Velul’s absence.
- · Attending all meetings, seminars and training as required.
- · Document any issues and communicate with Manager or Leadership.
- · Monitor daily sales and communicate to managers mid-day on sale performance.
- · New year scheduling/recurring appointments.
