We are looking for a passionate Commercial and Learning & Development Professional who will lead the Training Plan of the whole Sales Force of JJVC in Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
In this role, you will have a chance to leave a mark on the personal and professional development of hundreds of Sales employees across a large variety of countries and cultures.
The selected candidate will discuss Training and Development Needs with the General Managers and Sales Directors of each country in EMEA, as far as with the Regional Leadership Team, and will connect with external agencies to create the most compelling Training Plan to achieve the Needs.
What to expect?
- Designing & implementing the regional Sales L&D Strategy & annual Training Planning Process in close partnership with EMEA Regional Leadership Team and Key Market Stakeholders.
- Accountable for Competency Assessments, Learning Needs and Skill-gap Analysis as a key input for the development of training strategy & plans.
- Designing, developing & deploying training programs striven to meet Regional and Countries Learning Needs.
- Responsible for EMEA execution of global key training initiatives and adaptation of global training programs.
- Managing Onboarding Programs for all Sales Employees at all levels of the Organization (Account Managers, Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Category Managers, Sales Directors and Commercial Managers).
- Handling EMA L&D budget and contracting with L&D external suppliers in partnership with JNJ contracting and procurement departments.
- Regular fieldwork in key markets, including in-market training delivery for Sales Representatives and Sales Managers, field-based assessments as well as regular training progress reviews with local management teams.
- Set up and regular review of regional training metrics/dashboards (to be regularly shared with the EMEA Leadership Team) to identify and evaluate the impact of the training on Key Business Metrics and changes in People Behaviour.
- Accountable for the adaptation of regional New Products launch trainings in line with global and regional assets and plans.
- Crafting and deliver Key Account Management / Category Development / Connected Commerce training courses in partnership with EMA Regional Key Accounts / Category Management leadership.
- Accountable for EMEA Sales Management training curriculum with focus on field-coaching and leadership capabilities.
- Accountable for EMEA Copy Clearance of all training materials to ensure full compliance with EU law, HCC regulations, Eu privacy rules and brand guidelines.
- Availability to travel approximately 25% of the time across the whole EMA region.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- A Master’s degree in business administration will be preferred.
- Further qualifications in L&D area will be a plus (I.e., Coaching Certification, INSIGHT(R) Certification, AGILE methodology, etc).
- A minimum of 10 years of business experience.
- Experience in training/learning development or related experience OR Sales Management/Key Accounts experience. A combination of both Sales and L&D experience would be preferred.
- Passion for Talent Development.
- Experience translating business strategies into learning solutions.
- Project and vendor management.
- Experience working and handling resources in complex matrix environments with strong influence skills.
- Being comfortable handling discussions at different levels of the organization (Senior Leaders, Board Level, General Managers, Sales Directors, Sales Managers, Head of Key Accounts).
- Consistent track record of influencing and relationship-building skills that inspire trust and quickly build credibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Multi-lingual skills (Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Turkish) are preferred.
- The position could be based anywhere in Europe. Closeness to a Johnson & Johnson Vision Care office and to a well-connected International Airport is preferred.
