Night Porter (Part Time)

An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Night Porter to provide a complete hotel-style conference portering and cleaning service.

The duties will include: preparing meeting rooms and public areas; cleaning duties; security/fire walk rounds; maintaining and reporting faulty furniture and equipment, reception duties, and general communications with Hotel and Conference customers.

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a customer-focused role and using audio-visual equipment. A flexible approach is essential as well as excellent communication skills alongside the ability to work productively as part of a team.

The working pattern for this role is 2 days in 7 (including weekends and bank holidays) shifts between 21.30 – 07:10, with options of additional voluntary hours/days to cover holidays and sickness.
