Senior Human Resources Advisor

Our client is searching for an experienced Human Resources Advisor in the EPC industry, located in Edmonton or Calgary, AB! Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including working closely with the HR team to develop and deliver programs and practices to enable business performance and growth.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Advise and guide managers and employees on employee relations activities and act as the first point of contact for all client groups in the delivery of corporate HR programs
  • Execute employee change events as it relates to workforce planning including transfers, secondments, promotions, salary changes, leaves of absence, exits, etc.
  • Execute the implementation of HR programs for the company including compensation activities and bonus reviews, salary survey data submissions, and analysis
  • Update policies as required to ensure alignment with provincial employment standards and corporate values.
  • Evaluate data requests from client groups and run reports
  • Advise, collaborate, and complete testing for ERP-related projects

Your strengths include:

  • A related University degree. CPHR Designation is considered an asset
  • Previous experience with EPC project life cycles
  • Results-oriented and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet aggressive deadlines supporting multiple client groups
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required, advanced knowledge of HRIS and reporting systems, and/or experience within ERP systems
