Job Description

The successful Accounts Assistant duties include:

  • Prepare month-end reports.
  • Credit Control /Sales invoices.
  • Updating customer accounts.
  • High-volume purchase invoices.
  • Credit note approval.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Purchase Ledger duties – ensuring invoices are kept at a minimum and coded correctly.
  • Supplier statement queries.
  • Audit control.
  • Float checks / Petty Cash.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Finance Assistant MUST

  • Have a Finance / Accounts background (ideally in Hotel/Hospitality).
  • Be able to work independently / standalone sometimes.
  • Able to work effectively and to deadlines.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Punctual.
  • Organized.
