Brand Manager – Nutrition Division – Jeddah

What You’ll Do

Working closely with commercial teams and regional management to support the rapid growth of the division in Saudi Arabia will be critical for the role.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Leads and directs all marketing activities for the assigned brand including P&L responsibility, to achieve volume, organic growth, market share, and profit objectives in line with the overall business priorities.
  • Collaborates closely and provides strategic direction to cross-functional groups (e.g. Insights, Access, Medical, Sales, Training, Regulatory) for the development and implementation of both strategic and execution plans.
  • Combine qualitative (e.g., behavioral, attitudinal, psychological, cultural) quantitative data (e.g., big data, analytics), customer, and market information to generate performance insights and drive marketing strategies.
  • Participate in the annual operational planning process by shaping the tactical plan and budget required to achieve the brand’s stated objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret primary and secondary market research to gain insights from healthcare professionals and patients/consumers to develop and enhance brand strategies and subsequent tactical implementation. Perform ongoing competitive intelligence and distill complex information to deliver key insights to the sales team to maintain competitive positioning. Anticipate/identify threats and opportunities and make recommendations and develop tactics to respond to threats and opportunities.
  • Establish strategies and tactics that differentiate Abbott Nutrition products from competitors and further demonstrate the products’ utility in different indications.
  • Periodically meets with top key opinion leaders and establishes good rapport with them.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs and suggesting improvements.
  • Develops brand-relevant marketing materials and conducts regular training for the sales team.
