A Customer Service Assistant with Britbet is a customer-facing role, which involves the use of a touchscreen tablet to place bets on behalf of racecourse guests.

You will have the opportunity to work in a retail position within the public areas of the racecourse or with a handheld tablet in a hospitality lounge/box area.

Role duties;

• To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers (training provided).
• Pay out guests who supply winning tickets.
• Provide excellent customer service to racegoers.
• Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day.
• Explain different bet types to customers when needed (training provided).

Skills / Attributes;

• Good mental arithmetic.
• No prior knowledge of racing or betting is needed.
• Ability to deal with cash efficiently.
• Confident in relaying information to guests about bets and races after training.
• Enthusiastic!
