Associate Civil Engineer
We are currently seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our Community Development infrastructure team in Leeds or Manchester.

Our multi-disciplinary team works on a diverse range of projects across all of our development and infrastructure sectors, from strategic urban extensions to logistics parks, and urban regeneration projects. As an Associate, you will be involved in building up our Northern civils team and work with Directors across the region to drive the business forward.
You will take responsibility for running your own projects, including the management of the design process on a range of infrastructure development schemes for public and private sector clients.
You will have the opportunity to play a key role in the success of our team and gain valuable exposure to some of the best projects in the region.
You will liaise with the internal and external clients and design teams on projects and be involved in the delivery and management of successful and timely outcomes, on land development projects working in and managing multi-disciplinary teams.

About You
You’ll be MEng/BEng qualified and a Chartered Engineer. You will be focused on achieving coordinated solutions, a tactical thinker, and effective at communicating with both internal and external parties (for example utility companies, drainage authorities, and highway authorities).
Ideally, you will have expertise in infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects for the entire lifecycle – from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery.
You will have a proven record of delivering projects closely with clients across technical disciplines and experience of mentoring and managing the workload of junior team members. Skills with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage and utility coordination are advantageous.
Your passion and experience in delivering quality infrastructure design solutions and managing of processes with regulators and local authorities is most crucial to your success in this role.
