Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

Responsible for the cleanliness and general upkeep of casitas, ensuring that standard set-up by the resort is met. Supervises the daily activities of the casita attendants and casita housemen.


  • Collects and surrenders pass key from the Sr. Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Checks allocated casitas and ensure that these are ready and conforming to the resort’s standards.
  • Checks occupied casitas and ensure that these are made up in accordance with the resort’s standards.
  • Attend to guest requests or complaints.
  • Liaise with other departments regarding guest requirements and guest information.
  • Spot check daily the casitas, public and other areas.
  • Prepare and submit periodically punch list of casita defects to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Schedules general and periodical cleaning of casitas.
  • Inspect daily the housekeeping service stations and storeroom. Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the area, proper handling of linen, housekeeping materials, and supplies, guest amenities, minibars, and others.
  • Prepare and control storeroom requisitions for housekeeping supplies, chemicals, and guest amenities.
  • Informs and surrenders lost and found items to the Front Office.
  • Implement work schedules and work schedules of staff.
  • Conduct briefing with casita attendants and other housekeeping staff.
  • Conducts daily inventory check of mini bar stocks and prepares daily inventory report
  • Assist in monitoring staff performance.
  • Recommend disciplinary actions.
  • Be a willing team worker at all times. Accept and perform special assignments within or outside his Department as requested by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Keep abreast of all company policies and codes of conduct by reading and understanding all guidelines issued pertaining to such matters, and performing such duties and functions as specified in the guidelines.


  • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university with five (5) years of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or Team Leader.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel setting.
