Senior Sales Manager

As an Enterprise Sales Leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an ever-evolving market segment in the UK Central Government vertical. Your responsibilities will include scaling and managing a talented sales team focused on driving cloud and adoption market awareness in existing and future customers while achieving revenue targets.

This includes determining the most effective go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with various stakeholder teams such as Solution Architecture, Professional Services, Public Policy, Legal, Marketing, Contracts, and Executive Leadership along the way.

The ideal candidate will possess a public sector or regulated industry sales management background that enables them to lead a small but growing team of account managers. They will also demonstrate a track record of proven engagements at the CXO level.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Continue to hire and build out an enterprise sales team
  • Assign sales territories, set goals and quotas, and ensure proper training programs for the sales team.
  • Actively manage and coach the sales team to optimal performance.
  • Drive revenue and market share in defined Central Government market segments.
  • Accelerate customer adoption and be a champion for customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a robust and well-qualified sales pipeline.
  • Work with internal and external partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Expect regular UK travel to meet with customers and occasional international travel.

  • Extensive experience in selling technology solutions for Public Sector.
  • Demonstrable experience driving growth through and with cross-functions including Sales, Marketing and Segmentation, Channel and Partner Development, Public Policy, and Legal.
  • Substantial experience working with transformative technology including hyper scale cloud, IoT, AI/ML, business intelligence, and analytics.
  • Understanding of UK Public Sector Data Compliance and standards.
  • BS level degree or equivalent experience.
  • Multiple years of sales leadership experience.


  • MBA.
  • Cloud sales experience.
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with consistent territory growth and quota obtainment.
  • Extensive customer network at senior levels.
  • understanding of public sector transportation.
  • working knowledge of UK government contracts and procurement vehicles.
