What Will You Be Doing?

The Field Marketing and Sales Manager position will fully manage and be responsible to ensure the delivery of territorial sales targets. The position will be primarily responsible for ensuring a positive revenue stream from the sale of ancillary products that may otherwise go unsold or unaccounted for in assigned territory. 

The FMSM will develop tactics to educate front-line team members on the best practices to achieve specific sales objectives and overcome objections and improve the customer experience. The FMSM will be responsible for ensuring positive brand awareness in assigned territory by creating fun and exciting customer social media engagement opportunities.

 Field Marketing and Sales Manager will develop local relationships, external and internal events, and gorilla marketing techniques to ensure the Frontier Brand is positioned positively in the assigned territory. In addition, FMSM should be able to adapt to fill the company’s business needs in the ever-changing competitive landscape.  The successful candidate must exhibit their passion for sales by utilizing their persuasive and artful, outgoing personality!

Essential Functions

  • Uplift the territory sales volume to its possible best
  • Ensure the delivery of sales targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward
  • Meet with airport team members to discuss their evolving needs
  • Develop sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the territory initiatives
  • Provide the necessary support to airport management teams
  • Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives, and strategies to increase customer compliance
  • Optimize collection of ancillary sales, i.e.: bag, seat & agent assist fees at assigned airport locations.
  • Arrange and conduct training sessions for all front-line agents
  • Collaborate with Frontier’s airport leadership to ensure goals and objectives are being met
  • Review and manage associated sales reports and data and pivot as needed
  • Develop creative ways to incentivize airport business partner agents to increase ancillary sales
  • Develop creative sales recognition techniques
  • Collaborate as appropriate to increase onboard credit card take rates
  • Create fun and exciting interaction opportunities with customers by utilizing Frontier mascots
  • Utilize customer interactions to capture meaningful and engaging social posts
  • Support coordination of top customer dinners, new service announcements, and inaugural flight activities
  • Support initiatives as needed with local tourist boards and other travel and tourism entities
  • Coordinate company events, both internal and external as needed.
  • Manage charitable giving and brand promotional opportunities
  • Represent and positively position the Frontier brand in assigned territory
  • Interact with customers utilizing company-provided animal mascot costume

Work Environment/Remote Work Options

  • Positions available to work remotely out of: Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Cincinnati, Dallas, Orlando, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Miami.
  • Remote Home Based.
  • Various airport locations in assigned territory.
  • Additional hours will include weekends and evenings.
  • 60% travel required.
  • Must be able to follow our remote work policies, including ability and comfort level working from home with access to a high-speed internet connection

Physical Effort

Light physical effort is required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.

Must be physically able to promote the Frontier brand by donning a mascot costume

Supervision Received

Considerable Latitude:  The incumbent establishes methods and procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives, and receives guidance in terms of broad goals.  Only the final results of work are typically reviewed.
