Our multicultural Payroll team is seeking a Sr. EMEA Payroll Business Partner to join our team. We are looking for a strong leader that will take ownership and drive the change in our growing EMEA hubs in Prague & Bratislava.
This individual must be eager to dive deep into processes and have a proven record of delivering process efficiency results. The preferred candidate must have outstanding problem-solving skills, a strong backbone, and customer service passion. This candidate should combine expertise in statistics and data handling/management with strong business acumen knowledge. Our Business Partners help drive the company forward.
While one aspect of this role is about understanding our performance indicators, equal aspects of the position require the big vision and drive of an ambitious Payroll Leader. You’ll make a huge impact, not just on the bottom line performance of your area of responsibility, but on the overall employee experience.
You’ll employ every facet of data mining to ensure your partners, colleagues and leaders have the most up-to-date, reliable information at hand, helping them make the best possible tactical and strategic decisions. You’ll provide recommendations based on your knowledge and experience.

You’ll build relationships by being close to your partners, capture their voice, and keep them informed of the performance metrics and innovations the EMEA Payroll organization is developing,
You’ll lead the development of all partner-facing metrics, alongside all reporting models,
You’ll define and promote business improvements while recommending efficiencies,
Via root cause analysis, you’ll leverage extensive payroll/business data to uncover any underlying process-related issues,
You’ll assist the EMEA Sr. Payroll Leaders as you create meaningful reports, make quicker and better decisions, define goals, mitigate risk and fraud, deliver relevant services to our internal customers/stakeholders, and personalize the employee experience,
You’ll use the results to influence teams across business units to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented and you’ll influence other leaders to build a culture of balances and checks within the Payroll Operations Team to maintain an efficient and effective audit process,
You’ll lead efforts to identify opportunities and to evaluate/redesign Payroll processes to align with the company’s rapid growth and commitment to quality.
10+ years of experience in Finance, Account Management, or related.
Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge.
You are ready to serve our customers and invent on their behalf.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work by objectives without guidance.
Strong analytical and statistical skills.
Strong data wrangling skills.
Proficient in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and drive root cause analysis.
Experience in leading projects (preferably PMP or Prince2 certified).
MS Office knowledge – especially advanced MS Access and MS Excel Office (VBA, macros).
Extensive knowledge of Python, SQL, R is an advantage.
