To succeed in this position; you need to be curious, creative, and tech-savvy. You need to stay up to date with data programming software and apps, have an outstanding understanding of statistics and mathematics, and be proficient in writing algorithms. Data Science Intern

Collaborating with and learning from data scientists, software engineers, and researchers in machine learning.
Using your excellent technical skills to help deliver processes that collect, transform, and load data from various sources into a format that can be used by analytics processes for projects of modest complexity.
Drawing accurate and useful findings in a timely way by carrying out the necessary steps with tools such as Python, Jupyter, and AWS visualization services.
Assisting to advance the state-of-the-art through research and development assessment and working on geolocation-related applied machine learning problems.
Working together with our software and analytics teams to integrate models into production technologies.
Using large data sets to address location-related fraud issues.
Creating concepts for analysis to guide the next initiatives.
Degree or Graduating in Computer science
Educated. Working towards a degree or graduating in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, data analysis, or a similar field of study.
Discrete. You demonstrate the ability to understand how a system could be breached, and in turn, create an effective analysis for thwarting these attacks.
Analytical. You have a strong understanding of statistical concepts such as mean/median/mode and draw insights from the data
Detail-oriented. You have a keen eye for the little things, and you’re comfortable working with granular details.
Organized and agile. You have excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills. You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support a rapidly growing technology company.
Exceptional communication skills. Whether it is written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you are asking for, and what is expected.
Knowledgeable. You have a fundamental knowledge of Operating Systems and Virtual Machines.
Bonus Points if You:
Are familiar with multiprocessing and multithreading in Python.
Have experience with cloud providers and architecture such as AWS or GCP.
Have experience with Kibana.
Are Familiar with common SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
