Biomedical Engineering Jobs for Foreigners in Canada, As a Biomedical Engineer Co-op, you will be part of a multidisciplinary R&D team focused on the development of 3D human tissues for in vitro drug testing or as life-changing, cell-based implantable tissue therapeutics.
In this role, you will provide support for the design, manufacturing, and testing of 3D human tissues for pre-clinical use or as therapeutic devices by using and adapting Aspect’s microfluidic bioprinting technology.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work closely with a team of engineers, cell biologists, and biomaterials experts, to develop bioprinted tissues that could transform the way we develop medicines and treat disease.

Responsibility for Engineer Jobs in Canada with Visa Sponsorship:

  • Help develop, characterize, and validate bioprinting processes and tissue devices for therapeutic applications.
  • Test new microfluidics printheads and printer accessories to enable the processing of new biomaterials.
  • Prepare and process cells and biomaterials for bioprinting tissue development studies.
  • Perform morphometric, mechanical, and stability tests to characterize new bioprinted tissue implants.
  • Perform in vitro assays to characterize printed tissue health and function, including cell viability staining, immunostaining, and ELISA techniques.
  • Create experimental reports and present experiments to key stakeholders.
  • Rigorously document all work, following documentation standards.
  • Become an expert user of Aspect’s microfluidic bioprinting technology.
