Here is your opportunity: Amazon is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented, experienced analyst to join the Business Analytics Team within Amazon Transportation Services.

Key job responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will be analyzing and driving improvements in ATS Surface Transportation as we grow our Network and launch new nodes. You will do so by developing queries, scripts, tools & models to analyze the impact of future changes and lane-level performance post-changes.
You will look for inefficiencies/underperformance and compile data to support business decisions. Your work will directly support year-over-year savings and performance improvement.
You will partner with Senior Managers, ATS Business Stakeholders, Business Intelligence, and Tech Teams to address opportunities and develop tools that allow stakeholders to monitor performance and measure success.
You will work with business intelligence tools, manipulate big data from multiple sources and partner with the business to identify strategic opportunities and delivers results. You will demonstrate an internal drive to answer “why?” questions and derive analytical approaches to solve business problems.
You will be comfortable with ambiguity, and demonstrate an ability to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Analysis/Data Analysis or related technical field.
- Fluent in SQL.
- Experience with Python scripting (Pandas, Numpy, Boto3), R, Django, or similar programming languages.
- Experience working with data warehouses.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Experience in working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QuickSight.
- Professional experience in business/data/statistical analysis.
- Professional experience in making recommendations and decisions based on complex analyses and data.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Work experience in operations/supply chain/logistics/e-commerce.
- Exposure to Forecasting or planning.
- Experience in supply chain management and transportation concepts: forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics, and delivery performance..
- Experience with database management..
- Familiar with Oracle and/or any AWS products (Redshift, EMR, etc.).
