American Jobs in Canada, Analyst Jobs Canada 2022, Ultramar careers in Canada, Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Fuel Inventory Control (Retail), the Inventory Analyst will process and review inventory transactions, maintain rules and measures within PDI back office software, control day-to-day inventory operations, and implement inventory control protocols.

Data analysis will be the foundation of the Inventory Analyst’s focus. Working with large data sets and identifying risks and opportunities will be a day-to-day activity, providing insights to various departments through reporting and data interpretation.

The successful candidate will have an independent work ethic requiring minimal supervision, with a focus on detail. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate data findings into impactful actions is a must.

Responsibility

Analyze/Interpret Data:-

  •  Able to articulate effects of analysis, trends, and business decision support on key financial measures.
  •  Provide insights into cross-functional areas of the business to improve efficiency.

Reporting:-

  •  Inventory accuracy analysis & reporting for corporate or Co-dealer sites
  •  Preparing reports and summaries for cross-functional departments
  •  Establish and maintain proper records of inventory adjustments and other KPIs that can be shared on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

Execute/Develop Process:-

  •  Process and maintain inventory rules within PDI back office software tool
  •  Assist the team by executing current inventory management process parameters
  •  Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement of processes and analysis models

Skills

  •  Business or Finance background and/or 3-5 years of relevant experience in retail analytics.
  •  Immediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  •  Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize projects with minimal supervision.
  •  PowerBI and Microsoft excel expertise and ability to work efficiently with large/complex data files.
  •  Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Working knowledge of some or all of the following software would be considered a strong asset: JDE, PDI back office system.
  • Bilingual in French and English required.
