Amazon Jobs Australia, Jobs in Australia for Filipino, Amazon Jobs 2022, Amazon Web Services (AWS) team is looking for Network Development Engineers who are passionate about deploying and automating one of the world’s largest and most complex networks, to join our Sydney team.

As a Network Development Engineer, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and scaling the Amazon networks that support AWS, customers, and other business units, across multiple global datacenters.

As a Network Development Engineer at AWS you will:

  • Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that support the Amazon Retail Service and AWS services.
  • Deploy, scale, and automate our network across remote offices and global datacenters. This includes existing footprints and new locations.
  • Identify and act on automation opportunities through tool development to increase scaling velocity and quality.
  • Create simple, repeatable deployment processes while improving existing processes.
  • Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.
  • Create and update our network standards to ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.
  • Work closely with our automation teams in defining the platforms and frameworks that allow us to scale at unprecedented volumes.

Basic Qualifications

On your first day, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience working in large-scale networking environments.
  • Experience with internet routing protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and/or MPLS
  • Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos.
  • Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting, Perl/Python programming, or other languages.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis.
  • Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem, and work toward resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience working with a remote network and technical support personnel
  • Strong experience working with vendor TAC organizations paired with an ability to communicate technical problems succinctly
