Key Account Manager, Long-Term Care

Job Description

The Key Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with strategically important medium and large-chain long-term care and retirement customers. This individual is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives, as well as preparing for and participating in quarterly business reviews. The individual represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customer’s needs and expectations are met by the company. The Key Account Manager reports to the Director – Non-Acute Ontario.

Responsibility for Getting Key Account Manager Jobs in Canada:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Works closely with senior management and all Cardinal Health client resources to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Enlists the support of clinical specialists, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis.

Skills for Getting Canada Jobs for Account Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales/industry experience with 10 years preferred.
  • Proven sales quota achievement track record.
  • Experience selling to large long-term care organizations.
  • Experience handling a large portfolio of products or working for a distributor.

  • Travel to Eastern and Western Canada is required on a quarterly basis.
